This pan is perfect for cooking meat or sautéing vegetables and potatoes. The frying pan, or skillet, has a diameter of 26 cm. With its high, curved rim, you can easily stir the food in the pan without any of the contents splashing out. The two pouring spouts on the rim also make it super easy to pour liquids out of the pan. As well as the cast iron handle, the skillet is also equipped with a second handle. Considering the weight of the pan, this isn't an unnecessary luxury!



This frying pan is made of cast iron and has a diameter of 26 cm. Including the handle, the diameter measures 44 cm, so you can check whether the pan will fit in your kitchen cupboard or the oven. The handle is made of cast iron.

## Enamel inner layer

## Tips for using a cast-iron pan
A cast-iron pan has a lot of great features, but there are also some things to keep in mind. For instance, make sure you don't heat it up or cool it down too quickly. The booster setting on your induction hob, or the big gas flame on an ice-cold pan? Don't use it! It's also better not to put your Le Creuset pan under an ice-cold tap straight from the cooker or oven. That temperature difference can cause damage to the pan. 

Furthermore, the top edge of the pan and the bottom edge of the lid do not have the enamel coating. On this line, corrosion could occur (in theory). We therefore recommend lubricating the edge with a drop of sunflower oil after washing. You can simply use your finger. This will prevent rust or discolouration.



This pan does not include a lid. Lids are often sold separately. Please pay close attention to the diameter of the pan when selecting a lid to ensure it will match your pan.
