The **Laguiole en Aubrac Sauveterre Amourette, Bone** is a sleek and subtle gentleman's knife. This elegant gentleman's knife is the perfect match.

## Laguiole en Aubrac Sauveterre Amourette Bone handle

There is a beautifully shaped leaf where the blade meets the handle. From there, the lines flow smoothly to the subtly shaped blade. A subtle, single-sided swedge, the sharpening at the top of the blade and the engraving give the blade that little extra style. At the centre of the handle is a steel bolster and a ring made of snakewood. This is a high-quality and special type of wood that gives a graceful look to the knife. The other part of the handle is made from white bone. This is a very strong material that has long been used for tool handles. It is still used today not only because it is very hard, but primarily because it looks beautiful. . .

You open the Sauveterre with two hands. When opened, a slipjoint holds the blade in place. This is not a true lock, merely some resistance to keep the knife from closing. When closing the knife, it's important that you carefully lower the blade into the handle. If you don't do this carefully, the blade may hit the inside of the handle, which could affect the sharpness of the blade.

Please be aware that materials like snakewood have natural variations. The knife you receive can therefore be subtly different from the product photos. The model and type of material, however, will always be the same. It does mean that all the knives are unique.
