New: KAI Seki Magoroku Shoso

KAI decided to do things a little differently as it presents a collection of kitchen knives in a completely new style. After we got to meet these knives at the Ambiente in Frankfurt we are happy to announce that we can present them as well. Meet the KAI Seki Magoroku Shoso!

KAI Seki Magoroku Shoso: a little different

While other KAI collections are enhanced with handles made from different types of wood or plastic, the Shoso's are completely made from stainless steel. This makes them remarkable and exclusive, but above all very hygienic. The knives do not offer bacteria any chance to settle somewhere in the knife because openings are missing.

In addition, the ergonomically-shaped handles are enhanced with small diamond-shaped cut-outs that offer you extra grip when you use the knife. So not only a hygienic handle, also a very safe one!

Convex edge for long-lasting sharpness

The blade on the Seki Magoroku Shoso collection has a convex grind. This means that the blade is slightly 'convex' from the edge towards the spine. The advantage over most other kitchen knives, which are enhanced with a v-edge, is that you experience less resistance while using the knife. You also won't have to sharpen the knife that often because the knife is thinner 'behind the edge'.

Now you might think the following: "with so many advantages these will most surely be expensive knives." Well, that is not the case at all! The knives fall in the same price range as the very affordable KAI Seki Magoroku Redwood collection.
