Benchmade Mini Adamas pocket knife: a compact version of Shane Sibert's popular design

Shane Sibert designed the Adamas in 2012. Originally, this collection consisted of fixed blades designed for military personnel and other professionals as part of Benchmade's Black Class line, though nowadays there are folding knife versions available as well. The Mini Adamas is a great example! Compared to the original Adamas it might be Mini, but with an 8.3 cm blade it is not a small pocket knife. The Mini Adamas is a bit better suited for EDC use than the standard version of the Adamas.

Features of the Benchmade Mini Adamas

Although the pocket knife version of the Adamas is primarily known as a rugged EDC knife, it originally was designed for Benchmade's Black Class for first responders and the military. This is reflected in the use of materials and special features.

Benchmade Mini Adamas blade

The blade has a strong tip, perfect for self-defence and piercing tasks. The blade of the Mini Adamas is made of CPM CruWear, a seriously wear-resistant tool steel that retains its sharpness well. The Mini Adamas is enhanced with a non-reflective coating.
