The **Xin Cutlery XinCare Utility knife red and black** is a stylish Japanese kitchen knife. This utility knife has a blade length of 18 cm, making it look like a small chef's knife. This does not mean it is not an incredibly versatile knife. Thanks to the sharp edge and tip you can use this knife to finely cut a clove or garlic or herbs, but also to finely cut larger pieces of meat and vegetables.

## Xin Cutlery XinCare blade

The blade is made from 304Cu stainless steel. This steel is corrosion resistant and also anti-bacterial thanks to the increased copper content. Perfect for kitchen knives. The only downside to this type of steel is that it is almost non-magnetic. So unfortunately, hanging the knife on a magnetic knife holder is out of the question. To make sure the knives are amazing to use, the blades are enhanced with a core made from rock-solid powder steel. As such they are corrosion resistant and have a hardness of no less than 62 HRC!

## Xin Cutlery XinCare handle

The handle is made from G10. A rock-solid plastic that can handle moisture, heat or acids. It can handle falls and shocks. This handle is enhanced with graceful red and black lines for a stylish look and feel. It has a typical, Japanese octagonal style. The so-called WA handle. This handle, however, is quite special. Literally! The handle is twisted for a graceful effect. Despite this remarkable shape the knives feel great in hand. A stunning mosaic pin at the end of the handle finishes this stunning design.

## Maintenance

Despite the stainless steel used and the strong G10 we do not recommend cleaning the knives in the dishwasher. Clean them by hand under a tap and dry them with a clean cloth.
