The **WE Knife Thug XL** is a cool pocket knife and the big brother to the WE Knife Thug. The knife was designed by knife maker Matt Christensen, whose knives are very hard to come by. His handmade knives can be recognized by their tough blade shapes. With its compound grind tanto-style blade, the WE Knife Thug XL is no exception!

## WE Knife Thug XL blade

The blade is made from American CPM 20CV. This is a premium type of steel that is very popular for its sharpness retention and corrosion resistance. It's comparable to M390 steel from Böhler. You open the blade with the thumb studs, after which a solid framelocks keeps the blade securely in place.

## WE Knife Thug XL handle

The handle is made from carbon fibre, a rock-solid and lightweight material. The framelock side is made of titanium, which is fitted with a steel insert to prevent wear. The inside of the titanium handle has been milled away, to save weight.
