I'm a swiss army knife fanboy. along with the Super Tinker (which I carry in my backpack every day) it's my new favorite! love the package opening tool and the NYC color solution. and of course - the attached pen! bought the mini screwdiver also (because it wasn´t in the package).

Lots has been written about Victorinox's Live to Explore Collection, not all of it positive it must be said. Of course I get those who say the Paris and Sydney colours are rather loud and maybe not particularly aimed at men so to all who feel that way, step forward the New York! You are paying a fairly substantial premium for the contemporary aesthetic I have to acknowledge. And although Victorinox will point out that this knife comes with a rather funky matching neck cord, which I'm not so sure many of us will ever make use of, the fact is new stuff is always going to cost that bit more. I was perfectly fine with paying that bit more personally, otherwise I wouldn't have bought this beauty in the first place, so it's down to each individual if they agree with me or not I'll finish off by 100% agreeing that it is quite similar to the Climber but I would argue swapping the small blade for a nail file, swapping the can opener for a brand new box cutting tool which works very well and adding a ballpoint pen too makes this a very compelling EDC.
