The Spyderco Military 2 C36GPS2 Black G10, partially serrated is a large and sturdy pocket knife for various applications. This knife was designed in 1996 by Sal Glesser, the founder and owner of Spyderco. His goal was to develop a light-weight folding knife for general military use which could actually handle the task. Considering the popularity of the Military he was very successful in achieving his goals. The Military 2 is a variation of the first version. The first version has a linerlock, but this model has a compression lock on the back of the knife. This version is enhanced with a serrated edge. Ideal when cutting through sturdy materials such as rope and cardboard.
