The **Otter Mercator 10-726 RG D** is a stunning damascus steel blade. The handle is made from brass which is in nice contrast with the damascus steel. The pocket knife is not enhanced with a pocket clip, but does come with a nice leather strap.

## Damascus steel blade

The blade is made from damascus steel. The layers leave behind an amazing pattern on the blade. The handle is made from brass. You open the blade with the help of a nail nick. When opened the blade is locked by a backlock. The knife is not enhanced with a pocket clip, but does come with a leather strap. 

## Traditional, handmade Otter knives

The **Otter** knives are traditionally produced in Solingen. To this day, they are carefully handmade and sharpened. The range includes knives for recreational, household, garden and outdoor use. There are multiple versions of every Otter knife. For example, different types of steel are used, such as carbon steel or German stainless steel. We also see differences in the handle materials, often natural products such as deer bone or hardwood.
