The Mcusta MC-145G Shinra Mixture Bamboo, black pakka wood is a stylish Japanese gentleman's knife. The handle is made from stunning black pakka wood. This knife is enhanced with what Mcusta calls a bamboo pattern. This means, quite literally, that the handle is shaped like a piece of bamboo. It doesn't only look great, it also offers enough grip. The whole is complemented by stunning damascus steel bolsters. The transition from wood to steel bolsters was carried out perfectly. You hardly feel an edge when you move your finger over it. Overall this is an exceptional pocket knife. Beautifully made, with all parts fitting together perfectly. They have even taken the time to clock the pivot screw. The sanmai blade holds a wickedly sharp edge for a good length of time. My only complaint is the pocket clip. It lacks the spring tension to hold the knife in your pocket effectively, which for a knife of this price is important.
