With the **Laguiole en Aubrac oyster knife** you can safely and easily open oysters and other shellfish. The handle is made from olive wood. A light-brown type of wood that does not only look great, it can also easily handle moisture. A stunning gift and the highlight of every successful oyster celebration!

## Laguiole en Aubrac Oyster blade

The blade is made from stainless 12c27 Sandvik steel. A type of steel with a relatively high carbon content making the knife hard, but also tough. Other than that the blade is relatively thick up to the pointed tip. As such you can easily open the oyster without having to be afraid the blade will break. The Sandvik steel is not prone to rust or end up with ugly spots. However, the salt water in oysters will affect any knife. That is why we always recommend cleaning and drying the knife after use.

## Laguiole en Aubrac Oyster handle made from olive wood

The olive handle is enhanced with a lot of small decorations. The spine of the handle is embellished with file work that was applied by hand, the characterizing Laguiole bee and the scales are attached with rivets. Keep in mind that olive wood is a natural product. No two pieces of olive wood are the same! As a result the product you receive might not look the same as the one in the product photographs.
