The **Kizer Matanzas** is a solid pocket knife for daily use. The Matanzas is a combination of an EDC pocket knife and a gentleman's knife. The titanium frame is solid and contains a nice micarta inlay. As such the pocket knife looks nice and fancy.



The blade is made from CPM S35VN-steel. This is a stainless, American type of steel that retains its sharpness well. Easy to sharpen and, thanks to the slot in the blade, the shape is remarkable.



You open this pocket knife with the flipper and the framelock locks the blade when opened. As befits Kizer this knife is also enhanced with ball bearings and a steel lockbar insert. This insert ensures that the lock stays in great shape for years to come.

Das Messer kam zügig innerhalb von zwei Tagen bei mir an. Leider ist die Verpackung total verschmutzt und das Micarta- Inlay total vergraut, nicht ansatzweise in der dargestellten Farbe. Um die Klappachse herum tritt Öl in das Micarta aus, sodass sich die Stelle dunkelbraun absetzt. Leider als Geschenk nicht ansatzweise geeignet, schade.
