The **Kansept Hellx T1008A6** is a large pocket knife, designed by Mikkel Willumsen. The large blade opens smoothly by means of a flipper and ball bearings. When opened, a liner lock keeps the blade in place. The blade has a large finger groove. This enables you to carry out small, precise cutting tasks despite the size of the knife. 

This knife is part of Kansept's budget-friendly T-series. These are functional, affordable pocket knives.

## Stainless steel and G10 handle

The handles are made from black anodized stainless steel. The scales are made from G10. This is a strong, lightweight material made from fibreglass and synthetic resin. The light texture feels great in hand and offers plenty of grip. G10 can also handle almost anything you throw at it! The colour of the G10 provides a beautiful contrast to the black of the rest of the knife.

## D2 steel blade

The blade of this Kansept knife is made from D2 steel. This is a popular tool steel because of its strong qualities. It stays sharp for a long time, it can take a beating, and it's easy to sharpen. It does need some maintenance now and then, because D2 isn't completely stainless.

Un bon rapport qualité/prix pour un couteau solide.

Wat een mooi design en ondanks de grootte toch prima in de broekzak aan de klip, omdat het mes toch vrij plat is.

Overall this is a fine large folder. I like the materials that were used and the build quality, there is as good as no blade play and the knife feels very solid. Fun fact is that upside down this knife looks a bit like a bat. I subtracted 1.5 stars because of the handle: it is just not comfortable. Especially for a larger, heavier, heavy duty folder you would like to have an ergonomic handle which you can tightly grip in order to be able exert the necessary force. Unfortunately the handle is quite angular and too small, if I grip it tightly it actually hurts my hand. I would still recommend the knife because it is quite unique and definitely usable.
