The Fox Knives Spora Mushroom knife is specifically designed to cut (wild)mushrooms. Because of the curved blade you can easily and evenly cut the stem of the mushroom. The serrations on the spine of the blade provide you with additional grip as you pick mushrooms. After harvesting the mushrooms you can clean them on the spot with the brush on the back of the knife. You open the knife with one hand via the thumb stud on the blade. The liner lock locks the blade during use. Handle material and steel type The handle is made from eucalyptus wood; a nice, dark type of wood. The blade is made from 12C27 steel. This is a hard steel that is not prone to rust or unwanted spots. In addition, you can also easily sharpen it yourself if the knife starts to lose some of its sharpness over time.
