The **EKA HatchBlade** is an all-round light-weight axe. A great companion during camping or survival adventures or simply for use in your garden. The head of the axe is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. A stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. With a hardness of 47-50 HRC you never have to worry about *chipping*, parts of the edge breaking off. The head is enhanced with a blackwashed finish.




The cutting edge is razor-sharp. Much sharper than your average camping axe. As such you can also use it for many other tasks. Think of cutting tent pegs or feathersticks or even preparing a meal. The round finger hole in the axe head offers enough grip and control during these types of detailed tasks.




The handle is ergonomically shaped and made from sustainable G10. For an extra fancy look the G10 is enhanced with a wood pattern. A little luxurious touch during your camping trips.



An innovative kydex belt sheath offers you enough options to carry your axe with you. Both with the belt clip (max. belt width: 5.0 cm) as with one of the other 11 mounting holes. You could, for instance, attach a [Tek-Lok](/en/pt/-blade-tech-tek-lok-large-universal-belt-loop-mounting-system.htm).
