This sharpening stone is meant for use in an Edge Pro sharpening system Because the sharpening stone is only half an inch wide (1.3 cm) it is perfect when sharpening knives with a curved blade. You can easily follow the curve of the blade on a narrow stone than on a broader stone. This sharpening stone is mounted to an aluminium base which you need to add to the Edge Pro sharpening system. This base can be ordered as an accessory.
