This **CRKT Freya replacement axe handle** replaces the old axe handle of the [CRKT Freya](/en/pt/-crkt-chogan-hammer-2724-tomahawk-ryan-johnson-design.htm). The handle is made from strong hickory wood from Tennessee in the United States. 

## Putting the head on the handle

It's really easy to replace the handle of Freya axes because of their tomahawk construction. Put the handle through the axe head, with the thicker part of the handle at the top of the head. Then hold it upside down by the handle and tap the thick part of the handle on a hard surface a few times. The weight of the head will cause it to secure itself in the wood.
