I found this knife in a article reviewing various bush craft knives as I have never bought one before. This one was at the top of the list for value for money and I have to say myself that the article wasn't lying. Right out of its packaging this knife comes with a razor sharp finish, making good first impressions as it has been taken care of. The robust timeless full tang hard wood handle design makes for a brilliant tool for many jobs in the wilderness from building shelters to preparing rabbits, hares and deer, this knife battles through it all and is built to last. It comes with a 1075 steel blade which does not need regular sharpening. Criticisms so far: Given its wooden handle, it needs to stay dry in order to last a long time so it does require more maintenance than a modern plastic design.
