The **Chris Reeve Small Sebenza 31 Unique Graphic** is a unique issue of one of them most iconic pocket knives ever produced. The Small Sebenza and its 'big brother' are the standard when it comes to pocket knives, you can find a great deal of information about this online. There are, of course, other manufacturers who produce similar knives, but we haven't come across such a high level of quality in such an austere looking pocket knife.

## Small Sebenza 31 2023 Unique Graphics

This is the special version of the Sebenza 31: Unique Graphics. Each knife is truly unique, with slightly different colours. Because of this, we gave each knife a different product number. What you see is what you get. The colours of the scales, thumb studs and lanyard pins can differ slightly per knife. This is what makes each knife is unique, as the name suggests. Only available while stocks last!

For many people, the Chris Reeve Sebenza is the holy grail of the pocket knife world. Reeve’s drive for perfection and the continuous upgrade of the production quality, have inspired a generation of knife companies to aim higher. The Chris Reeve Sebenza is *the* model that started it all. 

The hollow grind blade is enhanced with a convex edge which was applied by hand, and is made from CPM MagnaCut. This is a type of stainless steel often used for tools. It has a similar toughness and sharpness retention to types of carbon steel like CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V and Vanadis 4. Its corrosion resistance is also sublime, even better than popular stainless steels like CPM S110V, CPM S45VN and Böhler M390. The blade opens easily with one hand thanks to an anodised titanium thumb stud, after which it locks in the open position with a rock-solid frame-lock.

When you compare the 31 to the Sebenza 21 you will also come across one of the main differences: the Sebenza 31 is enhanced with a ceramic lock interface. Sounds complicated, but it's pretty straightforward. Instead of a titanium lockbar that is pushed against the blade to keep it open, a ceramic ball was pressed into the titanium. That ceramic ball is much harder than titanium, and will therefore have a longer lifespan. A clever innovation we had already seen on the Inkosi.

Another difference is the stop pin. It is hardened to make sure it will last longer as well. The finishing touch on the Sebenza 31 is that the pocket clip has been turned a few degrees so that it rests on the frame instead of the lockbar. This makes the locking mechanism more consistent.
