The **Bestech Clastic BT2407A CPM-Magnacut, Bead Blasted Titanium** is a work of art in the shape of a sleek, modern knife. The Clastic is made from materials and has a high-quality finish. The design was created in collaboration with a young talented knife maker under the instagram name ‘Horizon.machine.works’, also known as James Arnold. The Bestech Clastic is a production version of one of his many custom designs. The Clastic has a smooth action and can be opened using the thumb studs or the sizeable front flipper.




The Bestech Clastic BT2407A CPM-Magnacut, Bead Blasted Titanium, pocket knife is a hefty EDC knife in the colour silver. With its blade length of 9,2 cm, it's especially suited for demanding cutting tasks. This is not a compact knife! When closed, it measures 12,5 cm in length and it weighs 135 g.



You quickly open the Bestech Clastic BT2407A CPM-Magnacut, Bead Blasted Titanium, pocket knife with one hand using the frontflipper or the thumb stud. Using a frontflipper takes a bit of practice, but once you've got it down it's a really efficient way to open the blade. Once opened, a sturdy frame lock ensures the blade remains locked in place and won't accidentally close during use.



## Blade made of CPM Magnacut steel
The blade of this Bestech Titanium is made of CPM Magnacut steel, possibly the most revolutionary steel of the 21st century. MagnaCut offers an unrivalled balance between sharpness retention, toughness, corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. Since the release of CPM MagnaCut in 2021, it has become one of the most popular steels in the world of knives. The MagnaCut blade of this pocket knife measures 9,2 cm in length.

## History of CPM Magnacut 
This type of steel was developed by Dr Larrin Thomas, a metallurgist who has dedicated his career to improving knife steel. He is the son of Devin Thomas, a famous damascus smith who supplied Chris Reeve Knives with steel for many years. Dr Larrin Thomas works in the automotive industry but is passionate about knife steels. He thought it should be possible to do better, and together with Crucible Industries came up with CPM MagnaCut. The blade of this knife is enhanced with a 'satin finish'. This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.



## Titanium handle

The handle of this Bestech Titanium is made of titanium and measures 12,5 cm in length. Titanium is a fantastic high-tech material. It is an excellent choice for the handle of a pocket knife for several reasons: titanium is very strong, lightweight and it is flexible. Moreover, titanium can be machined very precisely and a wide range of different finishes are possible. To be exact, the handle is made of a titanium alloy. Small amounts of aluminium and vanadium are added to pure titanium to make it even more suitable for use as a pocket knife handle.
