The **Bark River Bushcrafter 1 LT, CPM 3V Tan Burlap Micarta** was designed as the ultimate bushcraft knife. After all, there's a reason this knife was named 'Bushcrafter'. It involves an extensive amount of research. And the result is truly amazing. Each bushcraft enthusiast will recognize that this is a fantastic bushcraft knife. The shape of the blade is perfect for all bushcraft tasks and the handle feels great in hand. This is the LT version, with a slightly thinner blade of 3 mm. As a result, the knife is slightly lighter too.

The blade is made of CPM 3V, a type of tool steel known for its exceptional strength. As a result, it will not break easily and it retains its sharpness very well. However, you do need to be careful with moisture and acids: CPM 3V is not completely stainless. Clean the blade after use and occasionally apply a drop of oil to keep it in top condition. The edge has a convex grind, which you can maintain by stropping it.

The handle is made from micarta, a strong and lightweight material made of linen and synthetic resin. It feels comfortable in hand, even in wet or cold conditions.

The Bark River Bushcrafter comes with a leather belt sheath with magnetic closure. You can carry it horizontally (belts up to 4 cm in width) as well as diagonally (also up to 4 cm in width).

Bark River makes all their knives almost entirely by hand. As a result, each knife is unique. Especially when using natural materials, a knife may differ from the photos. The knife you receive may therefore be subtly different from the product photos. However, the model and type of material will always match.
