The **Wicked Edge Diamond-coated sharpening stones, extra-coarse 50/80** are two sharpening stones for the [Wicked Edge sharpening systems](/en/ct/wicked-edge-sharpening-systems-packs.htm). The sharpening stones are comprised of a plastic base with diamond-coated sharpening stones on top. The sharpening stones have two grain sizes: the black side is 50 grit and the grey side is 80 grit.

The grain sizes of the American Wicked Edge, however, are different from Japanese grain sizes. These sharpening stones have a grit size of 50 and 80. This is comparable to a J48 and J90 Japanese sharpening stone. 

These stones have an extra-coarse grain size and are therefore perfect when sharpening damaged knives. Want to sharpen a blunt knife? There are also finer sharpening stones that you can use to sharpen your knives. Si vous voulez changer le profil d'un tranchant, alors ces pierres vous permettront d'aller vite et économiser du temps. Surtout s'il s'agit des aciers difficiles !
