The **Viper Handy Black SureTouch** is a practical and compact fixed knife. The Handy is the perfect size for an EDC knife or to be your outdoor companion. You can easily carry the kydex sheath in a scout carry on the left or right. This way you always have the Handy quickly available.

## Viper Handy blade

The blade is made from CPM MagnaCut. One of the most talked-about steels of the past years. This steel is labelled 'perfect' by many, which is quite the statement! But they are right. It is a stainless type of tool steel. With a comparable toughness and sharpness retention of carbon steels such as CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V and Vanadis 4. The corrosion resistance is also sublime. Better than the popular stainless types of steel such as CPM S110V, CPM S45VN and Böhler M390. If that is not perfection, we don't know what is!

## Viper Handy handle

The handle is made from SureTouch G10. This is a composite material made from glass fibre, synthetic resin and rubber. This knife is nicely balanced and fits perfectly in most hands. It feels ergonomically-sound. 

## Viper knives: practical application of Italian design

Viper Tecnocut is an Italian knife manufacturer known for their excellent hunting knives and gentleman's knives. They only recently started producing more modern-looking pocket knives. Bought it for steel to add to my collectin and as skinning knife for this years hunting season. Overall good first impression. Comes sharp from the box and keeps edge very well. Good ergonomics. Good small knife.

Until now, the product page says leather sheath but it actually comes with the Kydex Sheath.
Impressive build quality. Rounded edges, jimpings, ergonomic scales, Magnacut, Suretouch, ambidextrous Kydex, 2 strong snap loops....
Exotic handle shape. Pretty sure Fabrizio Silvestrelli put lots of effort when he designed it, and we can honestly see how cleaver it is, but in the end that will not fit everybody. 
I personally find the 2 peaks, which are supposed to rest between the fingers in "regular" position, a bit too aggressive when I don't grab it correctly (a bit recessed from the blade for my 9 size hands). Maybe it could be justified for hunters who need a very secure grip for them hands cover with blood or for chopping tasks, though.
