The Spreading Knife Opinel N ° 117 is perfect for butter, jams and other spreads. The blade of this Opinel is specially designed for use of sandwich spreads.  
  

 
The stainless steel blade is 7 cm long and not sharp. This knife can be handled by children without risk. By means of two countersunk nails, the blade firmly attaches to the handle. According to the manufacturer is this knife is dishwasher-resistant. We advise against this as heat and aggressive dishwashing do not benefit to the life-span of any knife.
