The **SOG Flash AT** is a practical EDC pocket knife with an assisted opening. This means that when you open the knife you are assisted by a spring. It helps you when opening the knife to make sure it opens with a solid click. That way you can get started right away. Use the SOG Flash AT for all daily tasks. The handle is slim and thin which means it will hardly stand out in your pocket. The weight of 125 grams is also fairly modest.



Because of the assisted opening you don't want to it accidentally open. That is why SOG enhanced the spine of the Flash with a secondary lock. As such you make sure the knife won't open in your pocket or backpack as you open it.



The handle is made from light-weight FRN. This is a strong type of plastic, reinforced with fibreglass. As such it is even stronger than regular plastic and can handle almost anything. The blade is made from D2. This is nice and tough and can handle quite a bit. You do, however, need to be careful with acids and salt: D2 is not 100% stainless.

Gekocht als een kado waarvan de ontvanger heel blij was. Gekozen voor SOG omdat jaren geleden ik een soortgelijk mes heb gekocht bij deze zelfde verkoper. Dat mes heb ik zo vaak gebruikt en alles inclusief de springveer werkt nog steeds perfect. Best bijzondere kwaliteit dus. Binnen 1 dag was het gegraveerd ( echt mooi ) en geleverd, ook fijn.

Degelijk mesje. Geen speling op en neer of zijwaarts. 

Wonderful knife. Bigger than expected. Quite a beast that disappears in your pocket and end up not noticing it almost. The blade opens with a very satisfactory clack, which provides a very good feeling, like closing the door of a classic Mercedes. Not a fancy steel blade, doesn't need to be. Mine came quite sharp and well centered. A great full size knife overall.
