The **Real Steel Sorrow** is a large survival knife that can handle its own. Designer Jakub Wieczorkiewicz from Poltergeist design definitely introduced a work horse. The large blade is made from D2 steel. A tough type of steel that retains its sharpness well. The handle is made from G10. A strong material that offers you a lot of grip.

 Because of the large finger groove in the handle you have The Sorrow won't easily slip from your hand. You will immediately notice that the handle is stuck in your hand. At the end of the handle, hidden in between the handle, you will find a small lanyard hole you can pull a piece of lanyard through to be able to attach the knife to your wrist. A safe feeling during the heavy-duty chopping and breaking work.

 The Real Steel Sorrow comes with a kydex sheath with flexible nylon belt loop.

Ein sehr schönes Messer, liegt sehr gut in der Hand und es läßt sich für alle im Outtorbereich anfallenden Arbeiten gebrauchen.

Real Steel heeft een aantal praktische en slim ontworpen survival knives in zijn assortiment zitten. Dit ontwerp van Poltergeist is mogelijk één van de opvallendste en meer aansprekende met meer aandacht voor het design. Vind ik wel leuk. 
Op zich is het allemaal in de superlatieven wat betreft staalsoort, handgreep en hoesje. Mocht ik morgen voor een maand naar de Serengeti moeten dan zou deze hoog op de lijst staan. Zeker weten dat ik niet teleurgesteld zou worden. Niet voor die prijs in ieder geval.

Dat gezegd te hebben, zou ik wel interesse hebben in een wat minder praktische variant. Eentje opgeleukt met VG10, een leren hoesje en een mooie houten greep. Olijf of ijzerhout. Die laatste 2 zou ik misschien zelf wel kunnen regelen…

A good solid knife, should last and work for years. Sharp and easy to resharpen.

     The handle is maybe a little narrow but not to an uncomfortable extent. The main problem is with the  seat belt style hanger. While retention is good in the sheath the hanger being flexible makes it difficult to draw the knife comfortably one handed.

     Good knife needs an upgrade to the sheath.
