The **Real Steel Arbiter** is a large, fixed knife. It was designed by the Polish designer Ostap Hel. You can clearly see his characteristic lines when you look at the handle of the blade. The subtle texture on the handle offers you a lot of grip. Even while wearing gloves. You use the Real Steel Arbiter for many different tasks. It feels at home during camping or hunting trips or during hikes. But also as a survival knife it can handle its own.

 The Arbiter is enhanced with a blade made from 9cr18MoV steel. A type of steel with a good balance between corrosion-resistance, sharpness retention and how easy it is to sharpen. The striking thing about the Arbiter is its nice, sleek flat grind. As such it is amazing to use.

 To carry the Real Steel Arbiter with you it comes with a nice kydex sheath. It is enhanced with a nylon backing to make sure you can hang it from your belt.

I think I paid about €55 for this, including postage. For that price, the knife is really good. The sheath is good. The blade profile is practical. No unnecessary saw blades or too tactical a design. Suitable for everyday use.

I opened the screws on the handle, which were really tight. I got the handle plates off, but one screw wouldn't come off. The handle of the knife is good, but I like to make a different colored handle myself to pass the time. The handle shape is good. The handle is quite long.

The sheath is really good. The knife stays well in the sheath. The full tang construction of the knife makes the knife quite heavy. The weight is in the same range as Finnish long big knives. Maybe a little too heavy.

A superb multi-purpose knife that can be used for various purposes. I recommend.

I truly regret this purchase. The sheath loop is made of the same material as seatbelts and is horrible grainy to the touch. 

The spine of the blade is rounded...I have no clue why. Only a four year old would grip this massive knife by the spine. The handle has no contouring and I bet if you get it wet or bloody your fingers will be meeting the blade when you try to push this knife into something. I don't think it is a good bushkraft knife, nor a good butcher knife, nor a good fighting or work blade 



Honestly I am baffled as to why this knife exists. It also feels cheap. Going straight into the future xmas presents box. Going to gift it to my father in law. I reckon he might come up wirh a use for it.
