This **Naniwa Chocera Pro sharpening kit** is the perfect set for everyone who wants to make sure their knives are and stay sharp. The set is comprised of three stones with which you can maintain all your knives. The set contains the Naniwa Chocera Pro Stones with the following grain sizes: 600, 2000 and 5000. 

## Naniwa Chocera Pro Collection

The Naniwa Professional series is now called Naniwa Chocera ProYou might be thinking: 'Wasn't that already its name?', and you wouldn't be wrong! This series used to be called Naniwa Chosera. Spelled with an 's'. Just a small change, but don't worry; nothing was changed in terms of quality. The packaging and the print on the sharpening stones are new.

## How to use Naniwa Chocera Pro Stones

The Chocera Pro Stone is made on the basis of bound magnesium. This is a superior production method that ensures the quality of the stones are unparalleled. The Chocera Pro Stones hardly absorb any water to make sure you only have to add some water before use. They don't have to be submerged in water. After use, it is key the stones properly dry at room temperature. Don't allow them to dry on the heater! Once dried store them in a dry, dark place. As such you prevent small cracks.

## About Japanese grain sizes

Sharpening stones are available in different grain sizes. The larger the number, the finer the grain. The finer the grain, the sharper the results. When you start sharpening you start with the coarse grain and continue towards a finer grain. Steps of a factor two to three between the different grain sizes are ideal.

**Indication for choosing the right sharpening stone:**

  * Grain 200 to 600: suited to restore the edge of blunt knives

  * 800 to 1000: to sharpen and maintain knives that are in good condition

  * Grain 2000 to 3000: for sharper results than upon delivery

  * Grain 5000 to 12000: for razor-sharp results

Habe bereits den dritten Satz gekauft, warum soll man nicht Spitzenware an liebe Menschen verschenken.
Meine scharfen Messer sind aber auch gefürchtet, viele müssen erst lernen damit umzugehen.
Hab auch den 10000 er Stein in Gebrauch, mit dem ich besondere Messer den letzten Schliff gebe.

Les pierres sont assez chères mais sont de qualité.
A présent je vais devoir émousser du couteau pour parfaire mon geste et ma technique d'affûtage ! :)
