Very sturdy, well made knife. The handle is very comfortable. I love the black stonewashed effect on the blade. The Niolox steel is a firm favourite for me. I did slightly modify the knife, I reprofiled the edge to make it more slicier. The factory edge seemed to be a bit to shallow making it stronger for chopping tasks, but the blade is to small and light for chopping so the edge geometry didn't work for me. I also ground the thumb ramp on the spine of the blade to a 90 degree for scraping ferro rods. It would be better if it came like that in the first place as now I have ground off the black stonewashed effect on that part of the blade exposing the bare steel. But its a small price to pay to have a built in ferro rod scraper. The sheath is well made, but I'm not a fan of black leather sheaths. In time, I will be purchasing an after market sheath for it, I'm contemplating kydex, just to keep things simple and easy to maintain. Delivery from knives and tools was very fast. From ordering to delivery it took 3 days. You can't complain with that kind of efficiency.

Awesome blade as a camp companion/ survival knife, my third knife from lionsteel great quality. But this handle ergo's are amazing, a friend lent me there's as I had left my m5 accidentally packing in a rush. And the love affair started..... Had to own one
