I have to admit, have had the original single angle black version of this Lansky type of tool for quite a few years, it had a great robust build quality, very easy to use, can be used with gloves, in the dark, it's idiot proof, always always produced a good edge, great for when you need a quick edge which functioned. Have had the new multi angle for a few weeks now, it's the same story, great piece of robust kit, hard wearing, simple to use, produces a great edge, its a great piece of kit, fits in a pocket no problem, will it recondition a blade, probably, will it get you out of a jam with little to no fuss, yes always. If you can find a simpler piece of kit, with this build quality, buy it, but in my opinion that piece of kit does not exist yet, and if it does, could you use it with gloves, and in the dark. Its only my opinion, but very very happy, and highly recommended this for an EDC blade, axe, box cutter sharpener.

Great little gizmo, it's given my old chef knives a new lease of life. I didn't expect it to be anywhere near as good as it is. Something bought online that isn't rubbish! Well done and well worth buying.

I bought c-sharp after more than 2 years of using lansky blade medic. It is better for sharpening a variety of blades. On blade-medic it happened to get some edge rolling from the ceramic rods. Not with c-sharp. 600 grit is a good balance between speed of sharpening and a working edge. I expect Lansky to make a pocket sharpener with ceramic 15-20-25-30 degrees on a side and carbide 15-20-25-30 degrees on the other side. That would make more sense.
