The **KA-BAR Bk2 Companion** is one of the heaviest knife in our range. This knife can handle its own. The blade is 6.6 mm thick and made from 1095-carbon steel. This steel, however, is not corrosion-resistant. Fortunately the blade is enhanced with a black coating to make sure maintenance is a lot easier. Thanks to its thickness and the forgiving qualities of the 1095-steel this knife can handle anything: it is almost impossible to break it. In addition, the knife is easy to sharpen which is why this knife is so incredibly popular. 

 The comfortable handle is made from Zytel. A durable light-weight and strong type of plastic. Because of its size the BK2 can also be easily be used if you have large hands or when wearing gloves. The tang of the blade sticks out at the end of the handle and can be used as an improvised hammer.

 It comes with a polyester sheath with belt loop. You can use it to carry the KA-BAR BK2 on your belt

 KA-BAR BK2 is exactly the same as the BK22, the only difference is the sheath.

Impressionnant, extréme efficacité, je recommande

Al jaren zat ik te denken om een Becker BK2 te kopen, maar steeds weer werd de BK2 naar achter geschoven op mijn verlanglijstje.  Tot ik vlak voor Kerstmis eindelijk de knoop doorhakte en mezelf een BK2 bestelde.

En toen ik de BK2 de eerste keer in mijn hand nam voelde dit zo vertrouwd en comfortabel aan.  En ondanks dat het eigenlijk eerder een breekijzer met een scherpe kant is blijkt het toch bijzonder goed bruikbaar voor gewone taken ook.  

Okay, het zal nooit het beste mes zijn om een houten lepeltje mee te carven, maar dat weet je op voorhand (plus, het is niet onmogelijk). En eenmaal je naar het zware werk overstapt is deze Becker gewoon een tank.

Service van Knivesandtools.nl was weer super  zoals altijd, zelfs in de drukke eindejaarsperiode perfect op tijd in huis, prachtig.

Le BK2 est l'alternative au Esee 5, moins, lame très légèrement plus épaisse. De prime abord la qualité est exceptionnelle. 133 euros, un peu cher... Mais bien moins que son concurrent !
