This **Hultafors Mini Trekking axe** is the perfect compact axe that is easy to take with you, or for smaller tasks in the garden. It comes with a leather sheath that protects the cutting edge. 

## Axe head

The axe head is forged from Swedish axe steel. The edge is hardened to make sure it is strong enough to stay sharp without breaking, but can also be sharpened. Basically everything you like to see in an axe head.

## Axe handles

Hultafors uses American hickory wood for the handles. This type of wood is exceptional in absorbing blows without breaking. As such it is perfect as a handle for hammers and, of course, axes. 

## Characteristics of Hultafors Agdor axes

Each Hultafors Agdor axe head is forged by hand underneath massive forging presses in Hults Bruk, Sweden. Afterwards the axe heads move to an automated process that efficiently prepares them for use. This is how modern techniques and classic forging traditions come together.

Prima bijl! Lekker stevig, scherp, mooi afgewerkt en voldoet prima aan de verwachtingen.

Très bonne hachette, mais j'ai pris une tête de 900grs pour pouvoir la retailler, façon Hultan que je trouvais bien mais un peu légère et trop chère, en faisant attention de ne pas altérer le trempage. Du coup super mais j'ai été obligé de refaire un étui adapté. 

Très belle hachette, extrêmement efficace pour tailler, couper du bois et même fendre d'assez grosse bûches, bon tranchant, très bonne répartition de la masse, bref un excellent rapport qualité/prix
