The **Fox Knives Vulpis** is a non-Swiss, Swiss pocket knife with a modern twist. The Vulpis is compact and equipped with a lanyard hole. Opening the tools is very easy with the nail nick. Because the nail nick goes all the way through the tool, you can open the blade properly from both the left side and the right side.




The FOX Vulpis FX-VP130CF, M390, Carbon Fiber, pocket knife is a compact EDC knife in the colour black. With its blade length of 5,5 cm, it's a modest pocket knife that effortlessly fits inside your pocket. You can also notice this in the weight of 25 g. You'll barely notice you're carrying it with you!



You open the Fox with two hands. To make this easier, there's a nail nick which gives you a little extra grip using your fingernail. This pocket knife is not equipped with a full lock, only with a slipjoint mechanism. This provides some resistance to prevent the knife from snapping shut during normal use. However, if you press on the spine of the blade, the knife will shut.



## Blade made from Böhler M390 steel
The blade of the FOX Vulpis FX-VP130CF, M390, Carbon Fiber, pocket knife is made of Böhler M390. This is premium steel from Austria that is immensely popular for pocket knives, because M390 stays sharp for an incredibly long time. Moreover, it's very stainless. This makes it an an excellent choice for a pocket knife you carry with you every day. Because M390 is incredibly hard, we recommend sharpening this pocket knife with diamond sharpening stones or ceramic sharpening stones, or a sharpening system that uses these sharpening stones.



The blade has been polished, this is a premium blade finish that leaves no room for error. A polished blade ensures minimal friction while cutting, making the knife cut like a dream.



## Carbon-fibre handle

The handle of this FOX Vulpis FX-VP130CF, M390, Carbon Fiber, pocket knife is made of carbon fibre, and measures 7,6 cm in length. Carbon fibre is an incredibly strong material. For the handles of pocket knives, carbon fibre sheet material is used. The carbon fibres, often first woven, are pressed into a strong resin under high pressure. The result is a super strong, lightweight material. It is no coincidence that this type of carbon fibre is also very popular in the construction of sports cars and racing cars, as well as in the aerospace industry.

Carbon fibre is a fantastic material for a knife handle, as it keeps the handle nicely lightweight without having to compromise on strength. Moreover, carbon fibre looks amazing. The layers in the material give carbon fibre a high-tech look.

Sehr schönes Messer. Eigentlich kann man nichts schlechtes dazu sagen. Auf den Fotos sieht es jedoch etwas grösser aus. Und es ist wirklich extrem leicht. 

Sorprendente, mi aspettavo un giocattolino e invece ha un buon acciaio, una buona costruzione, è bello esteticamente e ha uno scatto intermedio molto deciso.

Die Vulpisserie ist ein Knaller! Superpreis für gutes Design. Ideales Reisemesser, da die Klinge nicht zu lang ist. Man kann aber trotzdem gut damit arbeiten. Der Slipjoint rastet gut ein und hält die Klinge fest in Position. Dennoch ist es natürlich kein vollwertiges Taschenmesser für intensive Arbeitseinsätze. Das soll es aber auch nicht sein.
