The **Fox Knives Vulpis** is a non-Swiss, Swiss pocket knife with a modern twist. The Vulpis is compact and equipped with a lanyard hole. Opening the tools is very easy with the nail nick. Because the nail nick goes all the way through the tool, you can open the blade properly from both the left side and the right side.




You open the Fox with two hands. To make this easier, there's a nail nick which gives you a little extra grip using your fingernail. This pocket knife is not equipped with a full lock, only with a slipjoint mechanism. This provides some resistance to prevent the knife from snapping shut during normal use. However, if you press on the spine of the blade, the knife will shut.



## Blade made from Böhler M390 steel
The blade of the FOX Vulpis 4-Tools FX-VP130-F4TI, M390, Titanium, Swiss pocket knife is made of Böhler M390. This is premium steel from Austria that is immensely popular for pocket knives, because M390 stays sharp for an incredibly long time. Moreover, it's very stainless. This makes it an an excellent choice for a pocket knife you carry with you every day. Because M390 is incredibly hard, we recommend sharpening this pocket knife with diamond sharpening stones or ceramic sharpening stones, or a sharpening system that uses these sharpening stones.



The blade has been polished, this is a premium blade finish that leaves no room for error. A polished blade ensures minimal friction while cutting, making the knife cut like a dream.



## Titanium handle

The handle of this Fox Vulpis is made of titanium and measures 7,4 cm in length. Titanium is a fantastic high-tech material. It is an excellent choice for the handle of a pocket knife for several reasons: titanium is very strong, lightweight and it is flexible. Moreover, titanium can be machined very precisely and a wide range of different finishes are possible. To be exact, the handle is made of a titanium alloy. Small amounts of aluminium and vanadium are added to pure titanium to make it even more suitable for use as a pocket knife handle.



## Fox Vulpis knives
The Fox Vulpis line is an impressive collection of multi-functional knives. The Vulpis is available in various configurations, materials and colors. Notably, despite their price range, these knives are manufactured in Maniago, Italy. Many brands have to shift production to Asia to maintain a similar price level, but Fox achieves this through smart design, assembly and material choices.

Fijn klein compact titanium mesje, erg tevreden mee.

Sehr schönes kompaktes Messer. vielleicht hätte ich doch das 5er Tool nehmen sollen. hätte nicht gedacht, dass es so viel kompakter als die Messer von V. ist.
Die Klinge kommt mit Rasierschärfe aus dem Karton. Verarbeitung soweit in Ordnung. Lediglich die Linie der Schneide scheint nicht perfekt zu passen. Wirkt auf mich leicht ungleichmäßig, was aber der Funktion keinen Abbruch tut. Klappmechnismus funktioniert 1a. Schere auch sehr scharf.

Excellent petit couteau suisse. Pour donner une idée de la taille (75mm), c'est similaire au Victorinox Executive, c'est-à-dire un peu plus grand que les Classiques. 

Très très mauvaise qualité du ciseau.   Bouge dans tout les sens a un jeu ENORME. Le reste des "accesoires" est correct.  Le ressort ne tient quasi pas et la lame du ciseau est déformée.   Très mauvaise qualité perçue juste a cause de ce détail.   Rien a avoir avec la qualité Victorinox.  J'ai plusieurs couteaux Suisse moins chers et la qualité perçue c'est le jour et la nuit. (mais je ne suis pas fan de l'acier de la lame principale Victorinox)  La lame en M390 s'est juste pour ça que je l'ai acheté.   
C'est le seul point positif avec le poids et le titane.   Est-ce que je vais encore acheté un couteau "Suisse" qui vient de Vulpis ou qui vient de Maniago Italy ?  Non, plus jamais !!! En tout cas plus jamais avec accessoires, seul lame uniquement.     Aucun contrôle qualité, c'est une honte.   Mon problème c'est que j'ai coupé l'emballage pour tester l'emballage, car tout avait l'air bien avant de tester le couteau et que maintenant c'est pas correct de le renvoyer.
