Classic French solidly handmade Laguiole pocket knife. Length closed: 13 cm Equipped with 12c27 steel blade. Handle with snakewood scales. 

**Locking mechanism** 

LockThis knife is equipped with locking on the blade (back-lock type). This lock ensures safety, which makes an extra spring in the knife unnecessary. As such the knife opens and closes lightly. 

**Standard with many options** 

The blades from the Fontenille Pataud Sport Series initially seem more expensive than the blades from other manufacturers, but you immediately get all the options for which you have to pay extra with other brands: 

  * Stainless steel end pieces (instead of brass) 

  * The bee and spring are forged from one piece of steel (instead of welded)

  * Locking mechanism

  * Leather belt holster 

  * Use of only A-grade natural materials 

  * Made by hand in France

  * The blade is locked after being opened

  * Opens easily and thanks to the lock you don't need a heavy spring.

A really substantial knife but not too heavy - (similar to buck 110 weight), lovely details and finish.  French style and substance at it's best.

Zeer tevreden over levering volgende dag reeds ontvangen.
Zeer mooie mes zeker niet te klein voor dagelijks gebruik aan tafel.
Merk naam is wel niet volledig door gedrukt , raar dat zij zoiets toch uit hun atelier laten vertrekken!! 
Het ontgrendelen was zeer stroef , beetje olie en gebruiken lost dit probleem op. ( misschien te lang in depot gelegen )
Waarschijnlijk vast gekoekt olie of zo.
Certificaat, eigenlijk belachelijk wat geen serie nr te bespeuren op het mes zelf.
Wel tevreden over aankoop.
Voor mij een heel mooie mes , mooie gemaakt !
Tip voor Knives and Tools kijk deze dingen eens na alvorens het mes te versturen . Ben er zeker van dat jullie dit kunnen verhelpen. Olie en/of terugsturen naar atelier.

Sehr hochwertig verarbeitet. Sehr gut passendes Futteral und funktionierender Wetzstaal. Insgesamt jeden Cent wert.

Naar Apeldoorn gereden om daar een aantal messen te bekijken. Belangrijkste reden daarvoor was om het mes te voelen en omdat het heft een natuurproduct is dat van mes tot mes verschilt.
Ik werd prima geholpen en kreeg op alle vragen die ik stelde een goed antwoord.
Na lang wikken en wegen heb ik voor dit prachtige mes gekozen. Thuisgekomen ben ik uit gaan zoeken waar het hout van dit mes vandaan komt. Blijkt dat het een zeer hard en zeldzaam loofboomhout is dat alleen voor komt in Guyana, Brazilië en Suriname. Met mijn Surinaams bloed in de aderen was dat een prachtige samenloop. In Suriname blijken de Kapiteins (opperhoofd) van  de bosnegerdorpen van dit hout een (lange) stok te hebben.
Het mes is vlijmscherp, een prachtige (slangenhuid) tekening, mooi damastwerk,zit in een goed passend foedraal en is kortom prachtig.
