The **Fiskars X36 Splitting Axe L** has an axe head with a very wide wedge shape. The wider wedge shape splits wood even more efficiently and also makes it easier to remove the axe from the wood. The handle has a very strong construction with a long SoftGrip™ that absorbs the blows during use. This heavy splitting axe is suitable for splitting very large logs!

The fibreglass reinforced plastic FiberComp handle of a Fiskars axe is stronger and lighter than a handle that is made from wood. De Fiskars X36 kloofbijl maakt direct een goede indruk. Dankzij de ergonomische steel en de goed uitgebalanceerde kop ligt hij prettig in de hand, wat het kloven van hout een stuk makkelijker maakt. De scherpte van de bijlkop en de speciale vorm zorgen ervoor dat hout snel  splijt. 

Een minpunt is dat de bijl niet zelfstandig rechtop blijft staan, zoals sommige kloofbijlen met een bredere kop dat wel doen. Daarnaast maakt de scherpte van de kop hem kwetsbaar voor beschadigingen, vooral bij onbedoelde aanraking met harde oppervlakken zoals steen.

Met oogpunt op de hoogwaardige materialen en de lange garantieperiode voor de steel is de Fiskars X36 zeker een aanrader!
