The **Extrema Ratio MF1** is a decent pocket knife, designed for military personnel. Solid, tough and powerful: that's the MF1 in a nutshell.

The blade is made from Böhler N690 steel. This is a very corrosion-resistant steel that retains its sharpness well. The MF1 is delivered razor-sharp, which is one of Extrema Ratio's trademarks. A glass breaker protrudes between the pocket clip. You can use this to effortlessly break car windows in the event of an emergency.

You open the MF1 with the thumb stud. A small part of the blade sticks out like a flipper, but that takes some practice and a good wrist movement. When opened a solid liner lock keeps the blade in place. Extrema Ratio has added an extra catch that can be used to secure the liner lock. There is also an extra kind of security built in around the pivot. This screw is knurled all the way round. The locking screw fits precisely into one of these knurls, meaning that the pivot can never be loosened unintentionally.

Très bonne impression de tranchant, solidité, style,prise en main 

mooi en goed in elkaar zittend mes het is een groot mes de staalsoort N690 is prima te slijpen wat ook de bedoeling is als je in het veld bent  wat ik persoonlijk wel O.K. vind. de prijs is wat hoog voor de staalsoort die ze gebruikt hebben als je naar andere hoogwaardige  messen merken kijkt maar je krijgt echt wel wat je verwacht als je dit mes koopt en dit merk . de linerlock mag wat robuster maar met de extra lock is deze prima, enige minpuntje is de pocket klip in mijn ogen door de constructie blijft deze vaak hangen aan de rand van je broekzak. maar ben er super tevreden over als ik hem gebruik top mes.
dank weer aan knives and tools voor de snelle levering. 

Couteau très beau et imposant. La qualité au rendez-vous et certes le prix est élevé mais c'est le cas avec tous les couteau de cette marque, donc je trouve que c'est un investissement qui en vaut la peine.

Prodotto davvero ben fatto, i coltelli di manifattura Italiana più apprezzati, metallo böhler N690 di Extrema Ratio resistentissimo e con una stroppatina torna a rasoio. Si presenta con una manicatura confortevole per lavori meno gravosi ma consiglio l'uso di guanti se si vuole impugnarlo ed usarlo all'inglese, il legno lo mangia come il burro e riguardo alla sicurezza ha doppia sicura sia liner-lock che con una levetta rossa posta sul lato affianco al liner-lock, l'ho usato per fare qualche picchetto, tagliato della corda del cartone e della plastica ma non ha perso l'affilatura e aggiustando un solo punto con lo strop è tornato a rasoio. Molto utile anche la punta frangivetro posta alla fine del manico. Che dire l'eccellenza un ottimo coltello tattico da salvataggio non esageratamente grande e tascabile con clip che lo rende a scomparsa nella tasca del pantalone o di uno zaino.

Zeer solide mes met een aluminium handgrip die zeer zacht en prettig aanvoelt in de hand. Nog nooit eerder zo’n grip meegemaakt en slipt niet weg uit je hand. Lemmet is tacticool, maar qua scherpheid had ik meer verwacht. Met een zwart lemmet is het oppassen met slijpen dus gebruik de juiste tools zoals work sharp. De flipper werkt goed en dat deze minder prominent aanwezig is vind ik een plus. De extra lock zorgt ervoor dat de liner lock combinatie niet zal falen. Het kost wat geld, maar zeker zijn geld waard voor een folder.
