100 test clips to test the sharpness of your knives

The **Edge-On-Up test clips, 100 pieces** are a practical and fast way to replace the test medium in between measurements. Each clip contains a thin wire of the test medium to make sure you only have to secure the clip.

 You use the test clips in combination with the [Edge-On-Up base for test clips](/en/pt/-edge-on-up-base-for-test-clips-dcb10.htm).

These are very quick and easy. 
Point to note is they will provide an artificially low (good) score vs the standard refillable media as they tensioned higher than 100g which is the proper tension for a calibrated result. It should be a 20% difference. In some cases, I have noticed a much larger difference.

Deze clipjes werken veel makkelijker dan dat DoubleX+ testmedium draad in een spoel. Dat draad spul moet je namelijk met een consistente druk aanspannen, bijvoorbeeld met een 100g gewichtje aan een haakje, wat zeer ongebruiksvriendelijk is. Deze clipjes prik je gemakkelijk in de Edge-On-Up basis voor testclips (DCB10) om snel en redelijk consistent de scherpte te meten van je messen. Volgens mij raden ze wel aan om altijd 50g toe te voegen aan je meetresultaten als je deze testclips gebruikt ten opzichte van dat testmedium draad.
