After quite a bit of research I decided on Eden quality mainly because it was the only affordable damast kitchen knifes that I could find anywhere! I was very happy with both the stylish look and solid quality feel of the knife. Yes you can probably buy a better knife but it would cost you ten times more!

Very nice knife for the money, uses an excellent steel which holds a good edge but is fairly easy to sharpen. It came very sharp and has a nice balance. It is very close in quality to my other chefs knife which cost 4 times as much. Just a quick thing to watch with these knives - the fine edge is brittle compared to cheaper knives so may chip if banged aginst pans or other hard objects. Its all part of using harder steels, the harder a steel is the less you have to sharpen, but you have to be aware it is more brittle.

Incredibly well built; this is ubndoubtably the best value for money I've ever spent for the kitchen. The blades are ground to a very common sense design that looks fantastic and will hone for many years.
