## Content of this knife set

With the paring knife you can carry out different smaller peeling and cutting jobs. You can peel vegetables and fruit, garnish and, for instance, cut an apple into pieces. For the more demanding cutting jobs you can use the santoku. This is a multi-functional Asian kitchen knife to cut meats, vegetables and fish. This Japanese star is an excellent alternative for the European chef's knife. Finally the set contains a bread knife. It is evident that you can use this knife to cut all sorts of bread. In addition, the serrated knife is perfect to cut cakes, pies, hard vegetables and fruit.

## Eden Classic Damast series

The Eden Classic Damast series is comprised of all conceivable kitchen knives. The blades on these knives have a core of strong and stainless AUS-10 steel, with a hardness of 60 HRC. The edge is razor-sharp and can easily be sharpened. The core has been encased in multiple layers of graceful Damascus steel. 33 layers per side to be exact. As such, including the core, there are 67 layers in total. Because of this combination the kitchen knives are not only incredibly functional, they are also absolute eye-catchers in your kitchen.

The Damascus steel blade seamlessly merges with the stunning black design handle that is comprised of a composite of linen and synthetic resin. The handle and the blade have been connected with the help of three rivets.

## Maintaining Classic Damast kitchen knives

As applies to all top-quality kitchen knives, it is best if you do not put your Eden Classic Damast knives in the dishwasher. It is best if you immediately wash and dry them after use. As a result the unique look and feel and the quality of the knives is optimally preserved.

Very nice knives, feel great in hand. Nice inital sharpness also.

Bonne qualité d'acier, couteau agréable à utiliser, le tranchant est très bon d'origine.

Seul défaut : le damas est juste décoratif malheureusement, il n'est pas réel.

Fijne set uit de Black Friday sale gehaald. Voor tegen de honderd euro erg veel waar voor je geld! De afwerking van de lemmeten is top, de scherpte uit de doos is top, blijft ongeveer 2 weken bij dagelijks gebruik in goede staat. Naslijpen is wat lastiger als je traag snijdende slijpstenen hebt vanwege de hardheid van de messen, en het is oppassen met zijwaartse bewegingen en hakken- je slaat gemakkelijk stukjes uit het blad. Verder is de afwerking voor deze prijsklasse prima, hier en daar een heel klein naadje, maar de fit en finish is zeker meer dan voldoende.

Al met al is de hele classic damast serie van Eden geweldig veel mes voor het geld dat je ervoor betaalt en ik zou ze zeker aanraden!
