The **DMT DiaSharp Bench Stone 6x2 D6F one-sided, fine** is a compact sharpening stone. The fine stone is excellent when maintaining the edge on a daily basis. Diamond-coated sharpening stones quickly remove material and, depending on the grain size sharpen your knives razor-sharp. The advantage of diamond sharpening stones is that they don't have to be lapped. With this DiaSharp stone the diamond particles are added to a 6 mm thick steel sheet. As such the flatness of this sharpening stone is guaranteed.


## DMT DiaSharp Bench Stone 6x2: grain size


The grain size of a diamond-coated stone and a water stone cannot easily be compared. This is because the construction and materials used are substantially different. With a water stone, the sharpening grains are incorporated in the stone. These grains are also released from the stone during use and become some kind of sharpening paste. With a diamond-coated stone, the diamonds are secured in the surface of the stone.


**Good to know**
The [DMT DuoBase met MagnaBase-adapter](/en/pt/-dmt-duobase-met-magnabase-adapter.htm) makes sharpening much more stable and easy. You can use the DMT sharpening stones with or without water. The advantage of sharpening with water is that the stone is lubricated and the sharpening residue is removed. Never use oil, always water. It is also good to know that a diamond-coated sharpening stone must be sharpened as well. A new sharpening stone removes quite a lot of material. Only after 5 to 10 knives does the stone have its final effect. The stone comes with a rubber base.

Super Pierre à aiguiser d’une grande efficacité 

Mijn eerste steen als beginner en ik heb mijn messen er scherp mee gekregen na ~30 min inzet. Ik had wel al uren aan tutorials bekeken, dus ik wist hoe ik moest beginnen.

Hij is wel wat kleiner dan ik dacht, wat het ietsje moeilijker maakt, maar ik vond het niet enorm storend.

Fijne steen voor all-round werk en heel duurzaam. Wel wat klein voor bijvoorbeeld keukenmessen. De meegeleverde rubber dopjes zijn een must.

Great little plate. You will need a stone holder for the bast comfort.

Der Stein kam bereits beschädigt bei mir an mit großen sichtbaren Produktionsfehlern. Leider habe ich nach mehreren Wochen immer noch keinen Ersatzt bekommen.
