The **Civivi Altus C20076-6** is a compact pocket knife for everyday use. The blade is 7.5 cm long. For many pocket knife enthusiasts this blade length is a sweet spot for an EDC knife. Large enough for most cutting tasks, like opening packages, and small enough for the more precise tasks. It is not surprising that many popular pocket knives, like the Civivi Elementum, have a similar blade length.

The Altus is enhanced with a button lock. This means that the blade is locked by a solid button mechanism. You open it by pushing the lock and pulling the knife out. This button mechanism will also lock the blade in place when closed.

## Aluminium handle

The handle is made from high-quality aluminium with a nice colour. This knife is remarkably lightweight. Its light weight and rounded handle makes for a comfortable grip.

## Nitro-V steel blade

The blade is made from Nitro-V steel. This is a type of steel that, in terms of performance, is similar to AEB-L and 14C28N steel. Great types of steel that retain their sharpness well!

Très raffiné comme couteau, entre les finitions et les choix de matériaux

Le couteau semble de bonne qualité mais le fil du tranchant avait 2 accrocs à la pointe que j'ai récupéré après un bon passage sur la pierre à aiguiser. Donc un peu déçu.

Superbe button lock, très élégant avec cette lame finition stonewash mat. Le déploiement se fait sans accroc par les thumb stud, du pouce comme du majeur, ou même avec le button lock. La lame sort vivement et claque bien. La prise en main est très agréable, le manche en aluminium est presque soyeux, sans pour autant glisser. Clip classique Civivi, en deep cary et réversible.  

Ik had al de groene micarta/damascus versie en nu de blauwe aluminium erbij. Bevalt wederom uitstekend! Superscherp, geen speling en prettige plaatsing van de button lock voor een linkshandige.
