The **Böker Plus 42 01BO675** is a cool and light-weight EDC pocket knife. The design is elongated and pretty straight. Striking is the cool *fuller* in the blade. The straight groove in the blade. You quickly open this knife with the flipper. Because of the ball bearings, it moves really well.

This is the 42-version of the Böker Cataclyst. Made for the German market. This version is enhanced with a slipjoint. As such it is legal in Germany. 

The blade is made from 440C steel. This is a great steel that is easy to sharpen,

Das Cataclyst ist ein schönes kleineres EDC, dass schwer aber nicht sperrig in der Hand liegt. Mit gefällt die Klingenform, die in Richtung Rücken sehr stark ist. Bisher habe ich keine negativen Punkte. Der Öffnungsmechanismus ist sehr schön umgesetzt und dahinsagt man es noch als nicht feststellbares Messer führen. Ich bin zufrieden.

Also was die Preisleistung angeht ist BökerPlus nahezu erhaben über jede Kritik. Mir gefiel auf Anhieb die dicke Klinge, auch wenn sie wohl für manche dadurch unpraktisch wird. Allerdings hielt die Klinge für meinen Geschmack nicht fest genug in der Rastung. Ich habe Angst, dass die Klinge bei der Arbeit zuschnappt und dann vom Finger gebremst wird. Also ging das Messer zurück. Jetzt überlege ich, ob ich die Version mit dem Framelock nehme. Leider ist die nicht ganz so günstig wegen besserer Materialien.

Ein tolles Messer. Sauber verarbeitet, praktisch, stabil und sehr scharf. Ich würde es wieder kaufen - klare Empfehlung.

Ein gutes Messer mit besonders gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. 440C-Stahl und eine sehr sauber laufende Double-Detent-Mechanik. Es gibt jedoch leichte Probleme mit dem eigentlich fantastischen Design. Die Klingenspitze steht eingeklappt weit oben und auch die Schneide ist sehr nah am Rand des Griffes. Wer unvorsichtig ist, kann sich am eingeklappten Messer verletzen. Ein tolles Messer für Menschen mit Fingerspitzengefühl.

Lässt sich sehr leicht öffnen und ist 42a konform. 440c Stahl ist zwar nicht meine erste Wahl, aber bei dem Preis ist das akzeptabel.
