This **Bahco folding saw 396-LAP** is one of the most popular saws for bushcrafting. Its coarse teeth of 7 TPI (teeth per inch), compact size and lightweight make it ideal to take with you while camping, hunting or bushcrafting. The saw is very suitable for cutting wood, plastic and even bone!

## Saw blade

The saw blade on the Bahco 396-LAP is made of Swedish high-quality steel. It features extra-hardened teeth and a corrosion-resistant, anti-friction coating. The saw is enhanced with a locking mechanism. You open the blade by pressing the button on the side of the handle. This locking mechanism locks the saw blade when it's open or closed.

## Handle

The handle of this pruning saw is plastic and lies comfortably in hand while sawing. The saw is easy to fold up, so it will fit in your pocket or your backpack.
