The  **WMF Grand Gourmet 1886464500 knife block** is a knife block finished in beautiful Cromargan® stainless steel, plexiglass and plastic. The knife block has room for eight knives, one sharpening steel or sharpening rod and one pair of scissors or meat fork. With this knife block, you always have your knives at hand and at the same time they are safely stored. Knives not included.

When you purchase an empty knife block it is, of course, important to know which knives fit inside. We measured this knife block. From the top left to the bottom right, the dimensions of the openings are:

  * For a honing steel or sharpening steel of 1.5 cm in diameter

## Knife block Cromargan®

The stainless steel part of the knife block is made from Cromargan®. This is the registered trademark of WMF's 18/10 stainless steel, since 1927. The name Cromargan® is a compound of the terms Crom and Argan. Crom, because the steel has a particularly high chromium content, and Argan because of its silvery shine. The advantages of this material are: it is stainless, scratch-resistant and highly resistant to acid discolouration. Great for use in the kitchen.
