The **Victorinox SwissTool MX** is a Swiss multi-tool with an ergonomic design and no less than 26 functions. Completely made from stainless steel and polished. Because of the nice pocket clip, you can easily keep this version of the Swisstool close.

The main advantage of the Victorinox multi-tools is that all tools are easily accessible without first having to open the pliers. When opened, the tools are immediately locked. ## SwissTool MX series

## SwissTool MX versus SwissTool Spirit MX

The main difference between these two models is the design and the size. The MX is slightly more angular, robust and larger. The handle of the MX is also enhanced with a ruler. The Spirit MX is slimmer, smaller and the design is more elegant. Other than that the multi-tools are completely identical.

### Pliers

You can open the pliers by opening the handles. The jaws are enhanced with small serrations that offer you additional grip. The tip is relatively small for precise tasks, such as bending fish hooks. The spine of the beak is curved to make sure you can easily move around in tight corners and bend a wire with ease. The pliers have been enhanced with a wire cutter and wire stripper. The wire cutter is also great for cutting small sticks and stems. Good pliers come in handy more often than you might think! 

### Large knife

The knife is razor-sharp and has a cutting edge of no less than 6 cm. Once opened, the knife locks immediately and doesn't budge. The tool can never close when you don't want it to, also making it perfect for heavy-duty tasks. When opening and closing the blade, you'll hear a nice click. The knife is very sturdy and perfect for outdoor and survival purposes. 

### Wood saw

The serrations cover approximately 6.5 cm of the saw blade. Branches the size of a wrist are therefore easy to get through. The saw is thin. The spine is approximately 1.3 mm thick and the teeth 1.5 mm thick. Because the spine is smaller than the teeth, the saw won't get stuck in the wood, and it limits friction. However, this saw can handle fresh wood as well as pallets and shelves. The SwissTool is a true life-saver when gardening and working around the house! 

### File

The file is enhanced with three sides that can all be used. A fine side that functions as a metal file, a rougher side for softer materials and a side that functions as a metal saw. This is the narrow base of the file and perfect when cutting through screws or nails.
