The TSPROF 50x-500x digital microscope with LED light is a powerful USB-microscope that helps you study every tiny scratch on your blade. You firmly place the microscope in the included metal base. Because of the eight LED lights you will always have enough light close. The LED lights are also dimmable with the help of the wheel on the cable. You can zoom in and out by hand from 50x to 500x magnification. With this microscope you also see most if you hold the object as close to the microscope as possible.

This is almost exactly what I wanted, It's a cool microscope but I'm not sure it's good enough to help with sharpening, the two core issues are resolution and magnification. I was hoping to be able to really see variations between a bess 50 and a bess 100 but my feeling is that everything under 300 basically looks exactly the same. I would love to see one of these microscopes with a HD of 4K feed and then maybe 1000 magnification. The foot is also a bit flimsy. The quest continues for the right tool.
