The **TRC Knives South Pole Limited Run DLC Elmax, Coyote G10 Knivesandtools Exclusive** is a stunning Knivesandtools exclusive made by TRC Knives. This version of the TRC South Pole features a coyote G10 handle and a DLC-coated Elmax blade. Only 50 pieces have been made, making this a unique limited edition.

The TRC South Pole is a large and robust survival knife, made in Lithuania. The source of inspiration for the South Pole was Roald Amundsen. This Norwegian explorer was the first man to ever reach the South Pole. He was known for his excellent preparation with which he could handle all possible situations. With the TRC South Pole you will be just as prepared!





The blade of the TRC Knives South Pole Limited Run DLC Elmax, Coyote Brown G10, Knivesandtools Exclusive, survival knife measures 11,5 cm in length and 4,4 mm in thickness. The total length is 23,4 cm.



## Blade made of Elmax steel
The blade of the TRC Knives South Pole Limited Run DLC Elmax, Coyote Brown G10, Knivesandtools Exclusive, survival knife is made of Elmax. It's tough, easy to sharpen and has a very good sharpness retention. These features, in combination with the corrosion resistance, makes Elmax a great steel. Elmax is made by Uddeholm in Sweden.



The blade is finished with a DLC coating, which stands for ‘Diamond Like Carbon’. It's a very hard coating that is even harder than the steel. This makes DLC very scratch-resistant, and this coating protects the blade against corrosion. DLC is very hard, but it is also only a thin layer: eventually, you will always see signs of use.



## G10 handle
The TRC Knives South Pole Limited Run DLC Elmax, Coyote Brown G10, Knivesandtools Exclusive, survival knife features a handle made from G10. This is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. It is very strong, offers a lot of grip and is comfortable to hold. Moreover, it is not affected by moisture and it is a very stable material. It's an excellent choice for the handle of a fixed blade.



The TRC Knives South Pole Limited Run DLC Elmax, Coyote Brown G10, Knivesandtools Exclusive, survival knife comes with a sheath made of kydex, a sturdy plastic that will keep the steel safe. However, it is important to keep a kydex sheath clean on the inside. Rinse it regularly with water. This will prevent dirt from remaining in the sheath, which can scratch the blade.
