The **TOPS Machete .230** is a lightweight machete designed by Joe Flowers and Leo Espinoza. It has been made to be used. You can tell from both the machete itself and from the practical sheath. 




The blade is made from 1095 carbon steel. This means it's not stainless, but does make it more resistant to heavier use. The blade has a matte finish. The handle is made from micarta, which is a great handle material because it offers plenty of grip, whether your hands are dry, wet, or wearing gloves.




The sheath is made of nylon and has two pockets. These are ideal for a small survival kit, firesteel or compass.

Tolles Produkt ... wie von TOPS nicht anders zu erwarten. Lieferung sehr fix, wie gewohnt.


Qualité Tops au rendez-vous, lame plus épaisse que la majorité des machettes ce qui justifie le prix. L’acier 1095 garantit la solidité dans la durée. L’étui aurait pu être en Kydex mais fait le le job! Un peu surpris que la marque ait pris le parti de proposer un manche aussi fin, c’est le seul bémol à mon avis!

Die Machete ist optimal um Brombeeren zu kürzen, man bekommt damit keine Rückenschmerzen!
Sie ist sehr leicht für die Länge.
Der Griff könnte nach meinem Geschmack etwas dicker sein.
Die Klinge hält die Schärfe gut.
