Full description

The Tojiro Basic Damascus F-333 petty is a simple yet effective kitchen knife and the Japanese version of a paring knife. Petty might also mean 'of little importance'. But this knife most certainly isn't. Thanks to its slim shape you can use this knife to peel vegetables and fruit or for the smaller cutting jobs in the kitchen. It is not that surprising that many professional chefs use this knife on a daily basis. Make sure you don't pry or chop with this knife. As with every good Japanese knife the right cutting technique is key.
